Toners on Rotation

Hello beautiful! Thanks for popping back in 🙂

Today, I thought I would give a quick talk through some of the Toners I have had on rotation lately. Do you use a toner? These ones aren’t the “acid/exfoliating” variety, more just the quick hydrating kind.

First up, is the Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence. This one smells delish. I got it in a Discovery Pack from Cult Beauty – side note – If you are interested in sampling some Tata Harper products I highly recommend this pack. Fantastic value. I am really sad that I am almost finished this one. This will be going on my to-buy-at-a-later-date list.

Next is the Kosmea Hydrating Rosewater Mist. I came across this one day when buying essentials from my local chemist. If you love anything rose scented you will love this! I think I paid around $15 for this one and let me say it’s $15 well spent! I adore this and use it most days.

Oh, Omorovicza, Queen of Hungary Mist. You have my heart. If only you weren’t so bloody expensive. I am savouring the last of this magic little elixir. When I use this my face just feels fresh. Do you know what I mean? I’m not sure what spell this potion casts, but I want it on my face everyday. Lols, that sounds a little strange *raises one eyebrow suggestively. Upside, us Aussies can now pick this up a whole lot easier now that Mecca stocks it. Downside- purse cries.

Ok, the Lancôme Tonique Confort, is not my pick of the bunch. This one has been hanging around in my bathroom cabinet for coming up about 12 months now. I just can’t seem to get into it. I think the issue is it’s not a quick spritz and go. This is a soak a cotton pad kind of deal. The liquid is a thick pink, like almost too thick to dispense onto pads and when you do pour onto a pad you actually have to wait a few seconds before the liquid absorbs into the pad enough to then swipe across face. Big no for me and I don’t even think I will use this up. I know, I know, wasteful but I really did try.

And finally Avene Thermal Spring Water, I’m on the fence about this one. I only have the small travel size and used it quite a bit throughout summer. It was very refreshing, but I notice no discernible difference when I do or don’t use it. It’s a lovely cooling spritz on a hot day, but not much more than that. I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I have just had a delivery of a few new goodies from Look Fantastic and amongst them are two spritz type toners I have been eyeing for aaaages – La Roche Posay Serozinc – yes Aussies rejoice, they will ship it here – YAY! And also the Caudalie Beauty Elixir which I have heard incredible things about.

So tell me, what’s your take on toners/hydrating spritzes? Do you use them or think they are a bit of a faff?
