OMT. Or in actual words – Oh my Tata’s. It’s pretty safe to say I have fallen head over cleansing cloth with the Tata Harper cleansing range. Divine is about the only word that comes close to describing the feeling of washing my face with any of these cleansers. I have now collected all 4 in the Tata Harper cleansing range (due to an international shipping error I ended up with the Regenerating Cleanser, which the company kindly fixed and shipped me the one I ordered without having to send the incorrect one back – how’s that for awesome customer service!). Tata Harper products claim to be 100% natural, organic and non-toxic. Containing no unnecessary filler or preservatives the majority of the ingredients are sourced directly from Tata Harpers farm itself and are produced in small batches in Tata’s Laboratory in Vermont.
My morning weapon of choice. This creamy cleanser with an uplifting citrus scent is the perfect wake-me-up. Two pumps massaged in and washclothed off and you are ready and awoken to start the day. There’s no foaming up, no skin stripping, no dry tight feeling, just a clean & soft face ready for the rest of the morning routine.
This silky oil is almost too good to use to take your makeup off. But it does the job brilliantly. Mascara, eye makeup, the works. It’s all gone after a minute or two with this oil cleanser. It also works lovely as a second/skin cleanse. Just one pump is all that is needed- hence why it looks like I haven’t used this much – a little goes a long way!
Now, I have just spoken about this one in my July Favourites and I think this one could be my absolute pick of the bunch. A fantastic deep cleansing cleanser which claims to keep those pores clean and I can attest to that! The Purifying cleanser is scented quite differently from the other three’s more citrusy scents but it still smells good, it’s a bit of a herbal scent but certainly not off-putting. Hey, if it keeps my skin looking as clear and detoxed as it has been it can smell like anything it likes. Within reason haha.
The one I didn’t order but ended up with anyway. I had tried this cleanser previously in a Tata Harper Discovery Kit and while I did like it, I didn’t think I would get much use from. The Regenerating cleanser smells amazing (very similar to the Refreshing) but it has scrubby bits in it and I have pretty sensitive skin when it comes to manual exfoliants. The granules are quite fine and it’s not technically an exfoliator as the directions say can be used daily. I use this one occasionally when I feel like a little bit of scrubbing action but I can totally see how someone with skin a little more tolerant than mine would think this was the perfect cleanser/exfoliant hybrid.
If you are thinking about a new cleanser I couldn’t recommend the Tata Harper line more highly. Effective, luxurious and the natural/organic thing is just a bonus!
