Would you believe me if I told you that one serum could do it all? No? Alright I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that one serum can do everything for everyone…. but I am going to let you in on a little secret. There’s one that comes pretty damn close.
Venn Skincare Age Reversing All in One Concentrate is an absolute powerhouse of a serum with I am now well into my second bottle so I definitely felt it was time to do a little Venn All in One review.
Venn Skincare was born out of a desire from founder and CEO Brian Oh’s need to streamline his own extensive skincare routine. To make it simple but absolutely not compromise on efficacy and results. Along with Brian Oh, Venn’s other co-founder – Kevin Mun is one of the leading chemists in South Korea with over 20 years of skincare research and innovation. And right here – in my opinion, a (skincare) star is born.
What is the Venn Skincare Age Reversing All in One Concentrate?
So let’s get this out the way first. This is not going to replace your AHA/BHA/Retinol – it is not a resurfacing product. You are going to still need an exfoliator of whatever description makes you happiest. But everything else – Hydration, Peptides, Antioxidants, … well it certainly has it all. Whether you want to streamline your skincare regime into a more manageable amount of products or you want to add in a product that is going to next-level your results – Age Reversing All in One Concentrate is a fantastic choice.
Ok, so whats in it? I’ll list the ingredients far below but first let’s highlight what is and what isn’t in this formula.
Let’s start with what is NOT included – fragrance, parabens, silicone, phthalates, mineral oil, sulfates and color. I appreciate all these choices. I am not saying things every single thing listed here is something I avoid without fail, but my preference in most cases lie with a formulation free from these.
As for what’s in it that I’m impressed by – Venn Skincare claims to have 19 of the worlds most potent naturally derived antioxidants and high performance peptides. So what does that mean exactly? In a nutshell and to break it down really simply (more so for myself – because the science of skincare can definitely make me feel out of my depth – you feel me?) Antioxidants in skincare form are there to prevent and protect your skin from being damaged by free radicals – sun exposure, pollution, lifestyle etc. In some forms, antioxidants can have a repairing effect (antioxidants such as vitamin C can brighten the skin and fade dark marks etc). Antioxidants can also help reduce inflammation in the skin and boost collagen production – so helping with fine lines, skin elasticity and tone – all the things this 38 year old girl want to hear.
Peptides are really exciting for me and Venn does not disappoint in this department either. Again, in the simplest way this is my understanding of what and how peptides work within the skin. Collagen is what we all want right? More please! Young skin with plenty of collagen gives a plump, smooth and bouncy feel and appearance to the skin. Do you know what collagen is? It’s a protein that’s made up of a bunch of amino acids in some kind of long chain. Peptides can be long or short chains of amino acids that when put all together form collagen. So when peptides are included in one of your products and delivered to the skin topically via a serum like Venn (or whichever cosmetic type of product they’re in) these short chain amino acids link together to form peptides and can signal the skin to do things like rebuild collagen and improve firmness and elasticity. Simply put – these are building blocks. Just like raw material on a construction site, they are not going to achieve much on their own laying around, but once they are linked or put together you will start to notice something forming – or in the case of skincare – rebuilding lost collagen.
Venn combines these antioxidants and peptides in a hydrating and moisturising formula to give your skin the best chance to rebuild your lost collagen and improve the texture, tone, elasticity and essentially reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

How am I supposed to use the Venn All in One Concentrate?
Age Reversing All in One Concentrate can be used daily or twice daily after cleansing whichever is your preference. I really enjoy using it in the mornings – I have normal/dry skin (depending on the season and other factors) and I find combined with an eye cream and HA serum prior in the morning during summer I can get away with this being final layer before a sunscreen – I’ll sometimes add a few drops of an oil over top if I feel the need to though. If you are on the combo/oily side this will be a perfect top layer year round. Winter or evenings I prefer to layer the concentrate and will add a heavier cream on top of Venn and even perhaps an oil too if I feel it’s needed.
If you are streamlining your routine this concentrate can take the place of your toner, essence, serum, ampoule, moisturizer, cream and oil. So cleanse your face – apply Venn Age Reversing Concentrate and you’re good to go if it’s night-time – Please still remember your SPF for the day though! If you are including Venn to boost and take your skincare game to the next level – I’d add it after any watery type serums, toner or essences and before a heavier cream or facial oil.
My experience with the Venn Age Reversing All in One Concentrate
If the opening paragraph didn’t already spell it out, I adore Venn. My skin responds very well to peptide infused products and Venn is certainly a front runner in this department in my opinion. With consistent use my skin feels stronger – I know that sounds weird, but it’s like I can feel there’s more resilience and it’s healthier and has more bounce to it. The texture of my skin feels and appears smoother and overall I feel my complexion seems fresher.
What’s the Deal? Final Thoughts?
I would personally recommend the Venn Age Reversing All in One Concentrate to just about everyone. If you are 22 it’s likely that you are not going to notice any dramatic change to your skin as you, you lucky ducky, are still full of all that lovely natural collagen — not to say you couldn’t benefit from using it even for the antioxidants alone- but you are likely not the target audience. As we age, our collagen stores deplete – so if you are over 30, feel your skin is lacking a little bounce, radiance or is feeling lacklustre- Venn would be an amazing addition in my opinion.
