There are people, like my sister, who have already completed their Christmas shopping by mid-November (or even earlier!) and there’s people like myself who come December have not even started. This series of posts is not going to be for those organised peeps who are already done & dusted (I wish I could be that organised!) but this is for those of us who are just starting to think about Christmas gifts and also for the last minute shoppers who can hopefully keep some of these in mind for their last minute dash to the shops!
Todays gift is a ‘For Her’ and it’s one you might want to think about getting your hands on rather quickly if you are interested in it as it’s a limited edition.
The Nars Steven Klein One Shocking Moment Cheek Studio Palette is the perfect gift for the makeup lover in your life…. or just a sneaky little gift to yourself. Cause, you know, you deserve it!!
From the absolutely stunning artwork on both the box and the actual compact to everything you need for a bronzed/contour/blush look this palette will not disappoint.
Included in the palette is a generous sized Laguna Bronzing Powder, being Nars most iconic bronzer plus the Paloma contouring duo – which I’ve got to say I’ve been loving the contour shade – it’s a great shade for those with a light-medium complexion. If you’ve ever bought a Nars palette before you’ve likely got Laguna but hey, it’s a bit of staple.
I am really impressed by the blushes included in the palette. Firstly about the fact that I don’t actually own any of these shades, two are limited edition shades – Robotic & Blasphemy and two are permanent shades – Luster & Dolce Vita. All are beautifully pigmented and great quality as one would have come to expect from Nars.
If you happen to miss out on the Steven Klein One Shocking Moment Cheek Studio Palette there’s always the Steven Klein Despair Cheek Palette to console yourself with, but I believe the One Shocking Moment Palette to be better value for your money.
You can get ahold of the Nars Steven Klein One Shocking Moment Cheek Studio Palette at the following retailers
In Australia at Mecca
In America at Sephora
And in the UK at Space NK
Tell me in the comments what kind of a Christmas shopper are you? I am definitely a less than organised type but I do try! I do the majority of it online, as fighting the crowds is akin to poking my eyeballs out with blunt skewer. If I have to brave the shops I try and do it either early on a weekday morning after I drop my son at school or I wait until the extended trading hours begin and head to the shops at like 9pm on a Monday night.
