Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules – Mini Review

Let’s have a chat about the Retinol I am currently using. Elizabeth Arden Retinol and Ceramide Capsules are the ultimate starter retinol. Firstly- they aren’t harsh – which can be a common fear about starting a retinol treatment – they allow you to dip your toe into retinol rather than dive in headfirst. Secondly they are individually dosed for your convenience (and freshness!) – and to make sure you don’t over do it! Bonus points for the ease of travelling with them, they literally take up no room whatsoever once decanted from jar.

Over the past month or so I’ve been favoring really gentle replenishing skincare and mild exfoliation with a focus on being the MOST gentle and kind to my skin – late last year I finished an IPL treatment, so taking things easy has been key in getting my skin to calm down.

But it’s now time to add back some retinol into my routines so I’m opting for most delicate step back in possible before heading for something stronger. Retinol is all about the journey, not hitting the hardest strength possible and over doing it.

Flaky skin who? I don’t know her.

These little Retinol and Ceramide Capsules* from Elizabeth Arden are perfect for either beginner retinol users or those who would rather go for the ‘little but often’ approach.

They’re individually dosed and are a cinch to use. No worrying about over doing it! Plus ceramides will help combat any irritation and keep your skin barrier in check.
