Chanel Lumière d’Eté Illuminating Powder

Ahhh, this bronzer. She’s a thing of beauty. Without a doubt the Chanel Lumière d’Eté Illuminating Powder is the most stunning looking powder product I have ever had the pleasure to own.

When Mr DHL arrived on my doorstep one morning and I unwrapped this piece of gorgeousness, I was thinking to myself, “how could I possibly put a brush to this? I’ll ruin it!” But then after rationalising with myself I came to the conclusion that what good would come from me leaving this untouched and unloved just to preserve its intricate detailing? Because, the real pleasure in owning beautiful products is in the actual using of said products.

By now, if you’ve read my May Favourites Post you’ll know this powder bronzer is an absolute winner. I hope you don’t mind me speaking about this one in such quick succession after including it in my favourites, but I couldn’t resist showcasing this bronzer in all its “new” glory and honestly, I literally can’t stop wearing it. It’s just the perfect shade for daytime bronzing. It is on the warmer side, so I wouldn’t be using for contour, but gently swirled in the “3” rotation across my forehead under and across cheeks and under jawline and a little on the neck creates the most beautiful and subtle healthy glow. Which is very welcome at the moment as I’m currently freezing my butt off in our Australian winter.

The Chanel Lumière d’Eté Illuminating Powder was included as part of the Chanel Mediterranee Collection for Summer 2015 and is limited edition. I picked mine up from Neiman Marcus in the states.
