Hi everyone! Just a little post tonight as I have been at my laptop or iPad most of the weekend either managing my eBay selling account and organising a major update for this blog. My eyes are a little square lols. BUT hopefully this week will see a complete re-design of this space – YAY. You may already notice a few little changes, I have updated from wordpress.com to .org and now self-host this site (like I know what really that means!) the comments system has changed over to Disqus also. Unfortunately some comments have been chewed up in the changeover, so I deeply apologise to all the fab ladies who commented on my last post – Epic Empties – I did read them and reply to them, but they have all disappeared 🙁
Anyhow, enough with that. I thought I would give a bit of a heads up for the Aussie Readers. If you are looking to add some Alpha H products into your stash the SkincareStore is having 25% off all Alpha H products for the month of May. You just need to use the code ALPHA25 on checkout. Great deal and they have super quick shipping too.
I adore Liquid Gold and never want to be without so I picked up 200ml Anniversary bottle. Holy crap, I think this should last me at least until the end of the year. Maybe more?
I also wanted to try out a mild cleanser, as we are coming into winter my skin cries out for a more gentle approach and I do love and use a lot of oil based cleanser I don’t have a lot in the way of a more creamy cleanser. I have used this a few times now and am really enjoying. It feels very nourishing on the skin. Very winter-esque.
I couldn’t help myself and I quickly added to basket two new products from the Liquid Laser line. Firstly the Liquid Laser Cleansing Oil – more like a gel truth be told – but lovely all the same. Just to note on this one, this does NOT contain glycolic. Unlike the Liquid Laser Serum. This one does and you are instructed to use it on alternate nights and can leave on skin without a moisturiser on top for more intense results. I can’t do this, I always have to follow with a cream – even with Liquid Gold. My skin gets really tight and itchy if I don’t moisturise after. A lot of people on Instagram have been asking my thoughts on these but as I have only used a handful of times I’m not sure yet. The cleanser is lovely, does the job etc. So far I feel like Liquid Gold provides more immediate results than the Liquid Laser Serum but I just haven’t used it long enough to say for sure.
For those interested in ingredients and instructions for the Liquid Laser line please see below.
And last but most certainly not least – the FREEBIES! Yay! Who doesn’t love something for nothing? Well not nothing per say but….yay freebies!
The SkincareStore threw in a mini Essential Hydration Cream and I also received a deluxe sample size Liquid Gold (from memory this was because I spent over a certain amount – but I can’t find the details of this deal now). Online shopping is made all the more enjoyable when samples are involved. Do you notice that you just don’t get that same kind of deal instore. No? Just me?
Thanks for reading and hopefully the next post I write will be on the new layout. I am so super excited and I hope you guys will like it xx
