Still firmly on the New Year train I thought today we could have a chat about two new product launches coming soon that I am ridiculously excited about. A new foundation from Chanel – the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation and a new day cream – Oskia Renaissance 360 Anti-Aging & Brightening Supreme Cream.
Launching imminently (January 10 in Australia) is the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation. When Chanel releases a new base product you better believe I pay attention. Chanel is responsible for some of my all time favourite foundations – Perfection Lumiere Velvet (review), Vitalumiere & Chanel CC Cream (review) – as well as the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powders (review) and Les Beiges Cream Blush (review) so of course it is inevitable that I am going to want to give this test drive! I actually did have the oppportunity to have a little swatch of it on the counter just before Christmas and I was blown away by just how beautifully it swatched – albeit only on my hand. Light – medium coverage, glowy but not overly so – somewhere between a dewy and satin finish, a lovely light texture and the typical Chanel scent – which I love, but if you are adverse to fragrance you might want to test this rather than buying sight unseen. According to my research there will be 14 shades available. British Beauty Blogger has a great review (link here) which just gets me even more excited. Like a kid on Christmas. Good thing Christmas brought me a lot of vouchers and cash cause I feel a Chanel haul coming on January 10.
Late last year as part of a Cult Beauty Goody Bag/GWP I recieved a 10ml sample of the yet to be released Oskia Renaissance 360 Anti-Aging & Brightening Supreme Cream (SPF 8). To put it simply – I love this! Described as being a vitamin rich day cream that tackles the ageing process on all fronts. It improves elasticity, reduces fine lines and increases hydration and contains actives which reduce pigmentation, fade discolouration & even skin tone and brighten. As I have only got a 10ml sample and I haven’t actually finished all of this I can’t speak too much as to the long term effects of using the cream but what I can say about it is that it gives me the perfect amount of hydration (normal/dry skin type right now) and it definitely gives me that glowy healthy look that I’m after. If you have oily – oily/combo skin you may find it would be a bit too heavy for you but for me, I am blown away. I haven’t been this excited about a moisturiser since the MV Organics Soothing Rose Moisturiser (review). Oh, and FYI it smells incredible. Quite similar to the Renaissance Cleansing Gel but with a little difference. According to the little note attached to the bottle, the Oskia Renaissance 360 should launch during March 2016 and I would assume it will be available at Cult Beauty.
Are you looking forward to any specific product launches this year? Let me know in the comments x
